Filtreau Drum 20

The Filtreau Drumfilter is a low maintenance system that provides healthy, clear water, without the user having to perform daily maintenance.

The Filtreau Drumfilter has less pressure loss and can be installed in gravity fed  or pump fed  systems.

The water will be filtered by the 70 micron INOX316L screen filter.

Suitable for garden ponds up to 35,000lt or Koi Ponds up to 25,000lt. Max Flow 20m3/hour.

HOW IT WORKS:

When the screen filter is filled with dirt, algae etc, water flow is reduced through the screen filter. This will result in a lower water level in the clean chamber of the Filtreau Drumfilter. This will be detected and will switch the Filtreau Drumfilter automatically in ‘cleaning-mode’. The ‘cleaning-mode’ means that the filter screen will be fully cleaned and will flush all the dirt, algae, etc. into the sewer. After a few seconds, the screen filter will be clean and can let through water again, so the Filtreau Drumfilter will go automatically switch back into ‘Filtration-mode’.

This sophisticated filtration system comes standard with a 40W UV-C Amalgam lamp. The built-in UV-C Module ensures crystal clear water. The sophisticated design and high quality materials result in high intensity UV-C radiation with a wavelength of exactly 253.7 nm. The high dose of irradiation kills almost all bacteria, viruses and fungi and thus provides clear, clean water. The UV-C radiation also keeps the screen panel free of both biofilm and algae growth. This results in optimum performance for clean, healthy water!
