The Thermotec Edge Inverter Swimming Pool Heat Pump is a high-efficiency heating system designed to maintain a consistent and comfortable swimming pool temperature throughout the swimming season. Using advanced inverter technology, the unit adjusts its output automatically to match the heating demand of the pool, resulting in improved efficiency, lower energy consumption, and quieter operation.

The heat pump extracts heat from the surrounding air and transfers it into the pool water via a high-quality titanium heat exchanger, making it suitable for both chlorinated and saltwater pools. Built with durability and reliability in mind, the Edge series is designed for long-term outdoor installation and consistent performance.

  • Note: These heat pumps do not come with a power cable or plug.

  • They require a heavy-duty round flex cable with a 13A UK plug fitted.

  • For an easy installation we recommend purchasing the Plug & Play Cable Kit, which converts the heat pump into a plug-and-play system.

  • The Inverter Edge 12.5kW, 15.8kW, 18.5kW, 22kW, 23.5kW, 29kW and 32kW models can run from a standard 13A UK plug.

  • Larger models must be hardwired by a qualified electrician as their electrical load can exceed 13A.

5. Extremely Quiet Operation on the Thermotec Inverter Edge Heat Pumps

The Thermotec Inverter Edge range work very silently thanks to a unique internal ventilation system and the inverter technology.

Both the fan and compressor automatically adjust their speed to match the pool heat demand, therefore once the pool is up to temperature, the unit can operate with reduced power consumption and noise.
